Fat can be used directly with the meat, eg KKCF or can go as an edible co-product to be rendered for human consumption,

eg. baking and frying, petfood, soap manufacture, pharmaceuticals or biofuel.

There is normally a home market for all these products.

ECP – Edible co products are those products that require further processing before they are fit for human consumption.

FHC – Fit for human consumption.
