AHDB Beef and Lamb will be showcasing their work with the independent sector and farm shops later this month at the annual Meatup trade show.

Digital marketing resources in focus at Meatup
The beef and sheep meat division of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) will be among 100 exhibitors, from across the red meat supply chain, at the two day event commencing June 30 at the National Agricultural Exhibition Centre in Stoneleigh.

This year’s AHDB Beef and Lamb stand will showcase the new online Point-of-Sale Hub and the seasonal point-of-sale kits, designed to help retailers and butchers showcase a range of seasonal beef and lamb cuts. The Point-of-Sale Hub, successfully launched earlier this year, has been created to help butchers market their businesses better, with a range of online customisable resources available in one place.

Michael Richardson, AHDB Beef and Lamb’s independent retail sector manager, said: "Meatup is a major event, bringing together key industry stakeholders from across the supply chain. It presents an opportunity to engage with key industry representatives.

"We will be showcasing a variety of promotional materials we have put together to help add value to the carcase and to demonstrate the versatility of beef and lamb products to shoppers. I look forward to welcoming guests to our stand this year.”
